About Catherine Braun, MD
Dr. Braun is a native of Mineola, New York, and is pleased to have returned to Long Island to care for women in her local community. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Binghamton University before receiving her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, where she also completed her residency training.
Throughout her training, Dr. Braun gained extensive experience in both high- and low-risk obstetrics, preventive medicine, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She has also completed robotic surgery certification on the da Vinci Surgical System and looks forward to continuing to provide surgical care as part of her comprehensive approach to women’s health.
Dr. Braun is committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive, and evidence-based care to patients of all ages. She values developing strong relationships with her patients and supporting them through the many stages of their health and wellness journey.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Braun enjoys spending time with her family and her two cats, listening to true crime podcasts, and watching sci-fi movies.
As the newest member of Long Island Women’s Healthcare Group, Dr. Braun is excited to serve the community and looks forward to providing exceptional care while supporting the health and well-being of women throughout Long Island.
