Max Baldinger is the Director of Operations and one of the founding members of Square Care MSO, LLC. Max started his tenure at Square Care by building relationships with each one of the providers and practice managers within Square Care Medical Group and escalating concerns to the appropriate departments. Today, he is responsible for ensuring the day to day operations at Square Care run smoothly and the team is carrying out our values of Transparency, Leadership, and Communication. Overseeing the hiring of new team members has been a major part of his role in maintaining a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Prior to joining Square Care Max worked with the Suffolk Care Collaborative (SCC). SCC is a Performing Provider System (PPS), part of the New York State Medicaid reform program. At SCC, Max led the Provider Relations Department and worked with community partners to contract them with the PPS. Max’s love for population health and healthcare reform really took off when he worked at Beacon Health Partners, a large independent practice association and accountable care organization. During his time there, he would provide education and training to providers and staff on quality incentive programs, reporting to CMS, and helped identify patients for Beacon’s Care Management Program. In addition to his experience in population health his career in healthcare stemmed from working in a clinical setting. Starting off in a small private practice he was the team lead for physical therapy aides and worked his way up to a practice manager. From there, he went to a larger setting working in the cardiology department at Northwell as a practice associate.
Max is currently enrolled at St. Joseph’s College pursing his MBA with a focus in healthcare administration.
